VULTURE WHALE is a brand new band from the center of the burgeoning music scene in Birmingham, AL. The band formed out of what was Wes McDonald and the Fizz. The more Keelan Parrish, Lester Nuby (Verbena), Jake Waitzman, and Wes McDonald (the Ohms) played together, the more they felt like a band and not a guy and a backup band.
They just finished recording their first LP entitled, "Vulture Whale". Recorded in Birmingham, mixed by Mark Rains at Hollywood Sound in Los Angeles and mastered by Scott Hull in New York City, the self titled debut from the Alabama foursome is a whirlwind of deep pop and muddy rock that glistens with soul and burns with a fever fit for a Chupacabra.
